SNS Pro Sculpt Poly Gel, Set 24 Colors. Twenty-four sculpting gel shades in 15 mL (0.5 oz) brush bottles, a swatch book for the counter, and the presentation box, formulated HEMA-free and TPO-free. It is the whole SNS Pro poly gel line in one order, for a salon adding sculpted extensions and overlays to the menu.

What it does

• Sculpts length and structure. A gel thick enough to hold its shape as a bead: place it, shape it with a brush, cure it under a UV/LED lamp. Extensions over a form, overlays on the natural nail, apex building and repairs.
• Lightweight on the nail. SNS positions it as stronger than hard gel and more flexible than acrylic, without the weight of an acrylic set.
• Control at the brush. The gel does not run and nothing sets until the lamp, so there is time to place the apex and thin the edges before curing. No activator, no monomer.
• HEMA-free and TPO-free. Made without HEMA, the small monomer most often named when a client reacts to gel, and without TPO, the photoinitiator. Stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
• Bottle, not tube. Each shade sits in a 15 mL bottle with a brush in the cap, the same format as SNS gel color, so it fits a bottle rack and pours a clean bead.
• Long wear. SNS rates a properly prepped, cured set for 28 days and more of wear.

What is in the box

The 24 shades

Numbered 1 to 24 on the swatch book. 1 is clear; 2 and 3 are milky and soft white; 4 to 7 are sheer pinks and 8 is the one bright coral pink of the set; 9 to 16 run from pale pink through peach to nude; 17 to 22 are deeper pinks, nudes and mocha; 23 and 24 carry a shimmer. Nothing dark, nothing opaque: it is a natural enhancement palette, built so a sculpted nail reads as the client's own.

How to use

1. Prep the nail, then apply a thin coat of gel base and cure for 60 seconds. Do not wipe.
2. For length, fit a dual form or a paper form. For an overlay, work on the nail.
3. Brush a bead of Sculpt Poly Gel onto the nail or into the form.
4. Shape it with a flat sculpting brush dampened in slip solution or alcohol: apex over the stress point, thin toward the cuticle and the sidewalls.
5. Cure under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. Use a low-heat setting if the client feels the cure.
6. Remove the form, file the shape, wipe, then add color if wanted and finish with a no-wipe top coat, cured for 60 seconds.

To remove, file the bulk down, leave a thin layer over the natural nail and soak, or fill over that layer at the next visit.
