- • The formulation remains exactly the same
- • Only the fragrance name is being updated
- Why the update?
- As we've continued to grow our fragrance collection, we've worked to create names that better capture the character and feeling of each scent. While Bergamot + Sandalwood accurately described two of the fragrance notes, we felt the name didn't fully reflect the warm, refined personality of the fragrance.
- Santal + Suede better represents the smooth sandalwood, soft woods, and sophisticated finish that customers experience, while still being the exact same fragrance you've always loved.
Scent Description
Santal + Suede blends bright bergamot with soft violet flowers before settling into warm sandalwood. Grounded by earthy patchouli and fresh pine, it has a smooth, modern character with just the right balance of freshness and depth. It's a refined, masculine-inspired fragrance that works beautifully year-round.

Candle Testing Notes
Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with a 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes
Tested at 0.05 FO load with a recipe containing 0.3 lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.
