- The fragrance oil previously known as Cedar Musk + Lavender will now be renamed to Mahogany Teakwood (type).
- A few important things to know:
- • The fragrance oil itself is NOT changing
- • The formulation remains exactly the same
- • Only the fragrance name is being updated
- Why the update?
- Back when we originally launched this fragrance oil years ago, we chose a more descriptive custom name instead of using the "type" fragrance name it was inspired by. Over time, we realized this sometimes created confusion for customers trying to identify or repurchase the scent.
- You may also begin receiving bottles labeled "Mahogany Teakwood (type)" as we transition packaging.
An empowering, masculine fusion of mahogany, cedar, geranium and resinous woods delightfully supplemented with hints of lavender. Inspired by BBW®/White Barn® Mahogany Teakwood.

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes
Tested at 5% FO load, 12/29/21 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Design Notes: Soaps beautifully, but does discolor to purple. This discoloration can cause some colorants to morph to gray. We recommend incorporating the natural discoloration into your design
